Errores de AdministraciónErrors of Administration
Are you doing what the Father entrusted to you from the beginning?
No te compares.
One of the most common errors in the administration of the Kingdom is when those in authority think we must all do the same task. But each one has a precise assignment from the Father. The error is to stop listening to the Holy Spirit and take on an agenda that is not ours.
An example of the error
Someone is called by the Eternal One to be a watchman, to keep watch over the wall. But those in authority decide that "everyone must do the same" and put him to intercede with the others. The ministry keeps going, but the wall of defense is left empty. There are no watchmen on guard; everyone is interceding.
That is what happened to Saul: he did not wait for Samuel and offered the sacrifice that was not his to offer. It looked spiritual, but it cost him the kingdom (1 Samuel 13:8-14).
One body, many functions
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes to each one as He wills. If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? (1 Corinthians 12:4-11, 17-21).
Some set apart, others in the main work
Some are set apart for specific tasks, while others focus on the main responsibilities.
- Seven were chosen to serve tables, while the apostles continued in prayer and the Word (Acts 6:1-4).
- Among several prophets and teachers in Antioch, the Spirit set apart only Barnabas and Saul (Acts 13:1-3).
- 400 went into battle with David and 200 stayed with the supplies, and all received the same share (1 Samuel 30:21-25).
- Joshua fought in the valley while Moses, Aaron and Hur held up the victory on the mountain (Exodus 17:8-13).
- The sons of the prophets knew Elijah would be taken, but only Elisha was called to cross the Jordan with him. Fifty stood watching from afar (2 Kings 2:3-7).
No assignment is less. What matters is being where God placed you.
When we follow our own idea
One of the sons of the prophets went out on his own to gather herbs and brought "death in the pot" (2 Kings 4:38-41).
The man of God from Judah had clear instructions, but he listened to another prophet instead of God, and lost his life (1 Kings 13).
You follow Me
When Peter asked about another man's calling, Jesus answered him: "What is that to you? You follow Me" (John 21:21-22).
This is not rebellion against authority, but a call to discern together what the Ruach HaKodesh has assigned to each one.
Do not compare yourself. Do not copy someone else's assignment. Listen to the Ruach HaKodesh and return to what the Father entrusted to you from the beginning.
